A 34-year-old man was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop on West Warlow Drive near Pathfinder Circle around 12:45 p.m., Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds said. The man was stopped for making an improper turn in a 2022 Nissan. During the stop, a drug dog indicated on the vehicle and a subsequent search yielded 15.43 grams of crystal methamphetamine, .2 grams of liquid methamphetamine and a misdemeanor amount of THC gummies. At the Campbell County Detention Center, deputies located a small baggie containing .8 grams of crystal meth. The man was charged with felonies for possessing meth and taking a controlled substance into jail. He was also charged with misdemeanor meth possession and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Deputies responded to the CAM-PLEX Central Pavillion at 4:41 p.m. after someone reportedly cut the wing feathers off at least four chicken show birds, Reynolds said. There were no witnesses or cameras in the area. The investigation is ongoing.

Crash, Aug. 3, I-90, CCSO, GPD, WHP, CCFD

Emergency personnel responded to mile marker 126 on Interstate 90 to investigate and assist with a single-vehicle rollover at 4:46 p.m., Reynolds said. A 2003 Ford occupied by four people reportedly overturned while pulling a 2006 Chevrolet on a trailer. Three occupants sustained minor injuries and removed themselves from the crash. A fourth individual was reportedly trapped in the vehicle with significant injuries and had to be extricated. According to Wasson, GPD officers responded and assisted with traffic control. The scene was turned over to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, which is currently investigating the crash.

Property destruction, Aug. 3, East 4th Street, GPD

Someone reportedly smeared human feces all over the interior of a portable toilet at Gurley Park and destroyed a hand sanitizer dispenser, Wasson said. The damage was discovered and reported to the GPD at 9:38 p.m., and the investigation is ongoing.

Intoxication, Aug. 4, Highway 14-16, GPD

Officers arrested a man for interference and intoxication after finding him walking in the middle of Highway 14-16 around 2:16 a.m., Wasson said. The man would only identify himself as anonymous and threw a meth pipe into the grass while speaking with officers.
